I recently visited Dunkeld Country & Equestrian Estate for a family vacation, and overall, it was a solid experience. Breakfast each morning was delightful, setting a lovely tone for our day. We also enjoyed dinner on our first night, where their trout dish really hit the mark. The accommodations were modern and comfortable; We hardly needed the fireplace despite the cool weather. Our unit had stunning views, allowing us a serene atmosphere we truly appreciated. The horses roaming the estate added to its charm and made for some lovely walks along the trails. While I do wish the reception had been more informative-we only discovered the quad biking opportunities on our last day-it didn't overshadow our enjoyment. For families seeking a peaceful getaway with plenty of activities, like biking and fishing, Dunkeld offers good value. The proximity between the self-catering cottages and the restaurant made it easy for us to manage our days. If you're looking for a vacation destination that feels welcoming to families, this venue could be worth considering.
